About Me
I am what some might call a “Jack of all Trades.” I immerse myself in a wide range of activities and hobbies, while keeping a special selection in which I excel and enjoy doing. Some of my interests are reading, science, and computers; and on the physical side: biking, sports, and hiking. My special interest is in computers, where I have experience in multimedia editing, Web design, programming, and much more.
My schooling after 7th grade consisted of home school and then college. Home schooling gave me an enormous amount of flexibility in what and how much I learned. It was also very good training in self-motivation and it gave me a great interest in learning, both of which were a great asset in my college life.
I avidly pursue service opportunities, and my service and volunteering experience has proved invaluable. Whether it is volunteering at a museum or library or Red Cross, or helping an acquaintance move, I enjoy participating in such projects.
I try to maintain a balance between the intellectual, physical, technological, and social aspects of my life. Having friends with a wide variety of interests keeps my horizon wide and new ideas and interests always coming in.
