This was an experimental beta video browser/player designed for use across Brigham Young University Campus. It was meant to replace an HTML and VLC based player in order to provide a better interface and better functionality. I redesigned the interface using Adobe Flex, and programmed the back-end database searching and sorting functionality using PHP. The player had a restricted login, and the advanced search could be used to search or filter by any metadata tag (title, author, etc.) or the video's department or both. The player searched a database of the digital media we had on our campus streaming server. The results were returned in XML format and displayed in the panel shown, after which any video could be streamed via the embedded VLC player.

This is a compilation showcasing several clips from the first five episodes of a children's Book Review series. I acted as director, recorder, editor, and primary motion graphics artist. The episodes were shot in 1080p24 on the PMW-EX1 camera. The series is planned to air on the K-BYU channel.

This is a rough cut of the intro sequence planned to be used with the Rachel's Review series. I acted as assistant director, camera operator, and creative advisor in the production of this video.

This video was created at the request of the BYU Library's Head University Librarian for use in a presentation for BYU President Samuelson. I acted as co-director and was responsible for much of the camerawork. This promo video highlights some of the services the campus library provides. It was shot in full 1080p on the PMW-EX1.

This was part a campus-wide campaign to serve and befriend fellow students. I acted as production assistant, camera operator, dolly grip, and 1st assistant cameraman (for some of the crane shots) at different points during the filming. The ad was shown at several sport events and each BYU student was emailed a link to the video's host page: redefineservice.byu.edu.
